Dice MTL — Privacy Policy

Dice MTL ("Dice", "we") is a local events and social app for Montréal. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account data — email address and display name, used to create and secure your account.
- Content you create — wall posts, comments, polls, club posts, match card details (virtual avatar, bio, tags) and chat messages.
- Photos you choose to upload — activity check-in photos and payment proof screenshots. We only access photos you explicitly pick.
- Location (while using the app) — only during location-based activities (check-ins, scavenger hunts, mountain runs) to confirm arrival. We do not track location in the background.
- Camera — only to scan activity QR codes and, for staff, to verify tickets.
- Tickets & payment proofs — ticket records and the payment reference/screenshot you submit for paid activities. We never collect card numbers; payments happen through your own bank (e-Transfer).
How we use it
- To operate the app: accounts, activities, tickets, matching, community features.
- To review payment proofs and release tickets for paid activities.
- To moderate content that is reported by users.
- Post text may be sent to a machine-translation service to display it in your language. Anonymous posts are shown without your identity.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Storage & security
Data is stored with Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security: your tickets and payment proofs are visible only to you and authorized staff. Passwords are hashed; we never see them.
Your choices
- Post anonymously in the anonymous zone — your identity is hidden from other users.
- Block any user (their content disappears for you) and report any content in-app.
- Delete your account and data: email us at liyunzhelol@gmail.com and we will remove your account within 30 days.

Dice MTL is intended for users 17 and older.

Dice MTL 是一款蒙特利尔本地活动与社交 app。我们收集:账号信息(邮箱、昵称)、你主动创建的内容(帖子、评论、匹配卡、聊天)、你主动选择上传的照片(打卡照、付款截图)、参加现场活动时的位置(仅用于确认到达,不后台追踪)、扫码所需的相机权限,以及门票与付款凭证记录(不收集银行卡号,付款通过你自己的银行完成)。
用途:运营 app 功能、审核付款放票、处理用户举报、把帖子文字送翻译服务以显示为你的语言。我们不出售数据、不做第三方广告、不跨应用追踪。
数据存储于 Supabase(AWS),采用行级权限隔离。你可以匿名发帖、拉黑用户、举报内容;如需删除账号和数据,发邮件至 liyunzhelol@gmail.com,30 天内处理。本应用面向 17 岁及以上用户。
